CHEM 1227 - HONORS: GENERAL CHEMISTRY II FOR SCIENCE MAJORS

3 Credit Hour(s)
A continuation of CHEM 1217 . Topics include intermolecular forces, properties of solutions, kinetics, equilibria, acids and bases, chemical thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. Instructors may choose to assign an experiential project as part of the course.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1210  or CHEM 1217  with a grade of “B” or better and active status in the University Honors Program or approval of the department head
