A detailed study of the American Revolution from the end of the French and Indian War to the ratification of the Constitution. Three units on the Origins of the Revolution (1763-76); the Revolutionary War (1776-83); and the Foundation of the Constitution (1783-91). Includes in-depth coverage of the role of women and minorities. Lectures, readings, and discussion.
