Includes an introduction to current theory and concept; methods of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health education/promotion programs; ethical issues; plus professional competencies and credentialing.

Prerequisite(s): Junior standing, HS 1330, and either HS 2000 or HS 3120, or permission of the department head
