SW 4100 - CHILD WELFARE II: WORKING WITH FAMILIES AND SYSTEM DYNAMICS

This course examines out-of-home services in child welfare along the child welfare continuum, from pre-placement activities to place in foster care to reunification or adoption. The stages of development are explored with a specific focus on the effects of maltreatment on each stage of development. Therapeutic assessment is explored in order to understand the family dynamic and how to address their needs.
