OMIS 3250 - SUPPLY MANAGEMENT AND PURCHASING 3 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed to explore the purchasing and supply management function within global supply chains and the critical points that Procurement and Sales intersect within an organization. Key topics include legal and ethical requirements, procurement processes, and technology, price determination, inbound transportation, category management, and strategic sourcing. Students will also explore spend analysis, supplier selection, qualifications, and relationship management.
Prerequisite(s): OMIS 3200 and Junior standing Restrictions: Credit toward the degree will not be granted for both MRKT 3200 and OMIS 3250. Offered: Fall, Spring Course Component: Lecture
