HS 3150 - STUDY OF HUMAN DISEASES


3 Credit Hour(s)
The course builds on an understanding of human anatomy and physiology, and integrates the study of human disease with focus on risk factors, clinical manifestations, pathology, and prevention. This course focuses on cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease. Emphasis will be placed on common assessment and screening methods, behavioral interventions, and pharmacological interventions to address these issues.

Prerequisite(s): HS 1330 , BIOL 2500 , and BIOL 2520
