ART 1540 - FOUNDATIONS IN VISUAL LANGUAGE II: DIGITAL MEDIA, CONCEPTS AND INQUIRY

Louisiana Common Course Number: CART 2303, Color Theory

This course continues to expand students’ foundational understanding of design and color theory while exploring practices and applications of digital media. Students will explore a variety of disciplines such as photography, animation, video, graphic design, and interdisciplinary processes. An emphasis will be placed on technology used in art production, project management, invention, and execution. Six hours of studio a week.

Prerequisite(s): ART 1510  or permission of department head
Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course.
