OSHE 1110 - INTRODUCTION TO OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH, and ENVIRONMENT

This course introduces general safety and health concepts. Major topics include occupational safety, health and environmental terms, historical developments, program concepts and terms, legislative overview, including worker’s compensation law, problem identification, hazard recognition, evaluation and control concepts, and an introduction to measurement and evaluation.
