This course introduces the student to logistics providing coverage on the following topics: the 21st Century supply chain, efficient logistics, customer accommodation, procurement, manufacturing and distribution strategies, operational integration, information networks, planning and scheduling, inventory management, major modes of transportation, transportation infrastructures and regulation, warehousing, packaging and materials handling, network integration, and administration.

Prerequisite(s): OMIS 3200  and Junior standing.
