MATH 2580 - ALGEBRA FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND SECONDARY MATHEMATICS TEACHERS

Topics include core concepts of algebra, including notation, expressions, equations, proportional relationships, functions, representations, and patterns of change. This course will emphasize Standards for Mathematical Practice, mathematical language, procedures, algorithms, applications, and dispositions.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or better in MATH 2470  
Course Component: Lecture
Notes: Graphing technology is required for this course.
