CMPS 3320 - FOUNDATIONS OF CLOUD COMPUTING 3 Credit Hour(s) This course aims to present the fundamentals and operations of cloud computing without assuming any prior programming skills. The course provides an exploration of the fundamental principles, component technologies, practices, and methods pertinent to using cloud environments and deploying applications and cloud solutions on them. Topics include cloud service models, available resources and provisioning, scalability, cost management, networking, security, and emerging trends.
Prerequisite(s): CMPS 1010 or CMPS 1610 or SC 1000 Restrictions: This course cannot count as a CMPS elective towards either the BS Computer Science or BS Information Technology degrees.
