CMPS 3340 - INTRODUCTION TO GAME DEVELOPMENT WITH A PROFESSIONAL GAME ENGINE


3 Credit Hour(s)
This course will give students foundational skills in game development using a professional game engine. The curriculum covers core topics such as game mechanics, asset management, scripting, and the creation of 2D and 3D games. Students will learn how to use the engine’s tools and workflows to build functional games. 

Prerequisite(s): CMPS 1010  or CMPS 1610  or SC 1000  
Restrictions: This course cannot count as a CMPS elective towards either the BS Computer Science or BS Information Technology degrees.
