MATH 4860 - CAPSTONE IN MATHEMATICS FOR SECONDARY TEACHERS 3 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed to expand and strengthen students’ understanding of secondary mathematics through the study of algebra, geometry, number theory, measurement, functions, data analysis and probability, and discrete mathematics. The course will help students to connect the key ideas in secondary mathematics with the higher-level mathematics studied in college courses through explorations, activities, and technology.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 3110 and MATH 3600 Restrictions: Students majoring or minoring in mathematics in the College of Science and Technology may not use this course as a 4000-level mathematics elective.
