A laboratory to accompany CHEM 4810. Experiments are designed to demonstrate the properties of amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids with emphasis on enzyme kinetics and protein purification. Three hours of laboratory a week. Students taking this course for graduate degree credit must complete an independent research project and a written research paper summarizing the project.

Prerequisite(s): CLAB 2680 and registration for or prior credit for CHEM 4810
Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course.
