HDFS 4480 - COMMUNICATION, AGING AND SOCIAL INTERACTION 3 Credit Hour(s) [FCS]. Current understanding of the role of language and communication in social, cultural, and family dynamics across the lifespan. In particular, students will consider issues that may arise due to communication breakdown when interacting with older adults within social, family, workplace, and healthcare settings. Students will be required to complete a capstone project based on their particular area of study.
