ET 3850 - MECHANICAL DESIGN

This course covers analysis of machine elements in terms of mechanical behavior of materials, stress concentration, combined stresses, fracture, and fatigue. Traditional methods and Finite Element Modeling and Analysis (FEM/FEA) are used. Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
