NURS 3830 - PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSING 2 Credit Hour(s) The focus of this course is on the acquisition of knowledge necessary to meet the standards of psychiatric/mental health nursing practice in the care of patients across the life span. It also provides students the opportunity to develop a foundation for clinical decision making, which encompasses significant nursing interventions in providing developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant psychiatric/mental health nursing care.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 3310 , NURS 3320 , NLAB 3340 , NURS 3710 , NLAB 3730 , and NURS 3780 or permission of the department head Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring
