NURS 3750 - GERONTOLOGICAL NURSING 2 Credit Hour(s) Focuses on the nursing care of older adults to promote, maintain and restore health and prevent disease. Emphasizes the nursing process to examine biological and psychosocial parameters, cultural influences, and current evidence-based practice affecting the healthcare needs of individuals, families, groups and communities. Focuses on collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family, and the healthcare professional to provide high-quality and safe patient care across the continuum of healthcare environments.
