ENGL 3650 - FORM AND THEORY–DRAMA

This course will examine and practice the forms, techniques, and theories of contemporary drama, playwriting, and screenwriting. Content will include analyzing dramatic techniques, use of dialogue and scene, and a variety of modes of delivery found in drama/screenwriting being published currently. The course will also involve completion of writing exercises, limited workshopping of student work, and detailed analysis of assigned readings.
