An introduction to solar thermal systems and their applications. Topics include solar radiation, solar thermal materials, solar thermal collectors, solar energy storage, solar cooling, solar thermal power systems, solar thermal efficiency evaluation, and economics of solar thermal systems.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 1910  and MATH 2000
