NURS 3390 - MEDICATION MATH FOR NURSING 2 Credit Hour(s) This course focuses on drug calculations necessary for nursing practice. Topics include: systems of measurement, routes of administration, calculation of formulas, medication symbols and abbreviations, intravenous flow rate, and calculations for special populations. Strong math skills are necessary and emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): Prior credit for ENGL 1020 , MATH 1610 , and CHEM 1070 with a grade of “C” or better Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring
