ET 3360 - STEEL DESIGN 3 Credit Hour(s) The application of principles of strength of materials to the design and analysis of structural steel beams, columns, trusses and frames, as well as connection and base plates in accordance with current AISC specifications. The class also covers using finite element software to design simple steel structures. Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): ET 1320 and ET 2710 Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course. Offered: Spring
