ET 3220 - PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS 3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides a practical application of processes using variety of Programmable Logic Controllers that are commonly used in industry. It includes selecting and working with multiple modules while learning about ladder logic design and structured text programming. The class covers PLC expressions, operators, conditional statements and loops and their applications in mechanical and electrical systems. This course also includes PLC hardware connections and troubleshooting and the use of HMI. Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): ET 2150 Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course. Offered: Spring
