ACCT 3200 - ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES

A study of the system that enables accounting data to be collected, organized, and communicated in an efficient and effective manner. The course emphasizes the accountant’s role in evaluating, designing, and controlling the flow of information. The course develops skills in using common software applications used to automate accounting systems and perform other analyses.

Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in ACCT 2210 , OMIS 3500 , and Junior standing
