SW 3050 - GENERALIST SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE: MEZZO PRACTICE SKILLS 3 Credit Hour(s) The primary purpose of this course is to prepare students for generalist social work practice with diverse populations utilizing mezzo skills. It provides specific skills for working with families and groups. Particular attention is given to working in rural settings, to populations-at-risk and to economic and social justice issues. The course will identify practice skills that emphasize strengths, empowerment, advocacy and change.
Prerequisite(s): SW 3040 and admission into professional standing Offered: Fall, Spring
