The first of a standard three-course sequence on the foundations of differential and integral calculus. Topics include limits, continuity, the derivative, techniques of differentiation, applications of the derivative, antiderivatives, definite integrals, and the calculus of transcendental functions, applications of definite integrals, work and volume.
Prerequisite(s): Active status in the University Honors Program and minimum mathematics ACT score of 28, a grade of “C” or better in MATH 1750 , or permission of the department head Offered: Fall, Spring
