Louisiana Common Course Number: CCEM 1123, Chemistry I (Science Majors)

First semester chemistry course designed for engineering, natural sciences, or life sciences majors. Topics include nomenclature, atomic and molecular structure, chemical equations and stoichiometry, and gas laws.

Prerequisite(s): ACT Math score of 25 or completion of MATH 1610  with a grade of “C “or better, or completion of CHEM 1200
