SOC 6090 - PROSEMINAR IN APPLIED SOCIOLOGY 3 Credit Hour(s) Proseminar introduces students to the expectations of the Master’s of Science in Applied Sociology program. Through this course, students will understand the difference between a thesis and internship and how to select the appropriate path based on their career goals. Students will also create a completion of degree plan, including selecting a major professor and beginning to develop their focus. Academic and professional skills will also be developed and students will draft a proposal for a report or thesis.
