PSYC 6490 - INDEPENDENT SKILLS AUGMENTATION FOR RESEARCH 1 - 3 Credit Hour(s) This course will provide individualized instruction on research design, statistics, protocol development, and technical writing in psychology to facilitate thesis and non-thesis project progression. Additional skills such as time management, goal setting, and data collecting strategies will be discussed. Weekly meetings will be required. This course may not be used to satisfy required elective hours. This course may be taken to facilitate project development prior to enrolling in thesis or non-thesis hours, but is required for students as outlined in the Progression guidelines.
Prerequisite(s): Psychology graduate standing and completion of PSYC 6350 and PSYC 6360 with a grade of at least “B” or permission of the department head Repeatability: Course may be repeated for credit. Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring
