COUN 6270 - INTRODUCTION TO PLAY THERAPY

This course is designed to provide students with basic information related to play therapy. The primary goal of this course is to introduce students to interventions and strategies that focus on various theoretical orientations and play therapy techniques for use in counseling children and families. Students will have the opportunity to receive supervised experience as they use various strategies in class and assignments.
