CSD 6150 - STRUCTURE AND PROCESSING OF LANGUAGE 3 Credit Hour(s) This introductory survey will examine the structural properties of language (both universal and language specific) in relation to diagnosis and treatment of language and articulation disorders. The course will cover the core areas of phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, along with psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic perspectives. Rudimentary training in the computerized analysis of language data will be included.
