COUN 6000 - RESEARCH METHODS AND DESIGNS

Principles and foundations of designing and conducting research are examined. Major topics covered in the course include basic statistics, types of research, literature reviews, needs assessment, program evaluation, and legal and ethical considerations regarding research. Students are required to conceptualize, design, and complete a behavioral research project.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Counseling Program or permission of department head
