The certificate in relevant for those seeking a degree or those who wish to enhance existing educational experience in digital health management. The purpose of this certificate is to prepare adult learners for careers in healthcare with high-demand knowledge and job skills related to electronic/personal health records, data management, data analysis, project management, and health informatics. Courses will explore the changing healthcare environment and the role of digital smart media in relation to three areas of telehealth: (a) direct to consumer, (b) remote telehealth, and (c) patient monitoring.

*Grade of “C” or higher is required.

Requests to waive prerequisites should be made to the appropriate department head on an individual basis. HS 3150 /HS 3160 (6 hours) can be substituted for NURS 3130 (3 hours).
