HSM 4820 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT FUNDAMENTALS IN CARE COORDINATION

The focus of this course is to provide students an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the healthcare coordinator and a review of significant care coordination initiatives. This course reviews the basics of project management and includes hands-on application through a work-related project. Students learn to maximize time, money and personnel by using efficient techniques for managing projects in the healthcare coordination programs.

Prerequisite(s): HSM 4000 and HSM 4100 or permission of department head
