ART 2610 - DESIGN STUDIO II 3 Credit Hour(s) This is an intermediate course with an emphasis on design as a problem-solving tool for broad critical inquiry with a contextual awareness of aesthetics, audience and culture. Students are encouraged to develop conceptual projects that help them translate graphic design in different media and mediums. Topics may include design for screen, information design, visual systems, concept building or experimental typography. Six hours of studio a week.
Prerequisite(s): ART 1600 and ART 1610 or permission of the department head Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course. Offered: Fall, Spring
