SW 4020 - SOCIAL WORK POLICY, A FRAMEWORK FOR ANALYSIS

The course will focus on the issues and conflicts raised by policy makers in designing social welfare policies and programs. A conceptual framework for social welfare policy analysis is explored. Techniques for advocacy, empowerment, and transformation are demonstrated.

Prerequisite(s): SW 1010 , SW 2010 , SW 2030 , SW 2040 , or permission of department head for non-majors
