NLAB 3350 - CLINICAL PRACTICE COMPETENCY LAB II 1 Credit Hour(s) Guides students in the application of theory to clinical practice and in the development of cognitive, psychomotor, and interpersonal communication skills necessary for the implementation of safe and cost effective interventions to promote, maintain, and restore the health of individuals, families, groups and communities. Provides opportunities to develop and refine previously learned and new clinical practice skills related to intravenous therapy, surgical asepsis, oxygenation, and cardiovascular monitoring. Three hours of laboratory per week.
Prerequisite(s): NLAB 3050 and concurrent enrollment in or prior credit for NURS 3720 and NURS 3750 Laboratory Fee: A laboratory fee is required for this course. Grading Basis: This course will be graded pass/fail. Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring
