NURS 3720 - ADULT HEALTH NURSING 2 Credit Hour(s) Focuses on the nursing care of young and middle-aged adults to promote, maintain, and restore health and prevent disease. Emphasizes the nursing process to examine biological and psychosocial parameters, cultural influences, and current, evidence-based practice affecting the healthcare needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities. Focuses on collaboration between the patient, family, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, safe patient care across the continuum of healthcare environments.
Prerequisite(s): NLAB 3730 Concurrent Enrollment: Concurrent enrollment in or prior credit for NLAB 3350 , NURS 3750 , NLAB 3820 , and NURS 3830 are encouraged but not required. Offered: Summer, Fall, Spring
