Focuses on the nursing care of young and middle-aged adults to promote, maintain, and restore health and prevent disease. Emphasizes the nursing process to examine biological and psychosocial parameters, cultural influences, and current, evidence-based practice affecting the healthcare needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities. Focuses on collaboration between the patient, family, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, safe patient care across the continuum of healthcare environments.

Concurrent Enrollment: Concurrent enrollment in or prior credit for NLAB 3350, NURS 3750, NLAB 3820, and NURS 3830 are encouraged but not required.
