*A grade of “C” or higher is required in these courses

†† Students must earn a grade of “C” or higher in all major courses.

Must complete a two-course science sequence with labs by taking BIOL 1510 /BIOL 1520  and BIOL 1530 /BIOL 1540 CHEM 1210 /CLAB 1230  and CHEM 1220 /CLAB 1240 ); PHYS 1910 /PLAB 1930  and PHYS 1920 /PLAB 1940 . If the sequence is taken in Chemistry or Physics, the additional three-hour course and lab must be BIOL 1510 /BIOL 1520 . The fourth science should also be chosen from this list.

2 We recommend that this course be chosen as part of a cohesive group of courses that will focus on a particular application domain. Students may consult a computer science faculty member for advice on application domains, but this is effectively a free elective.

Students are required to take additional mathematics if they wish to pursue some Computer Science electives.
